Role: Conveyancing Legal Assistant
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000

The Role:
As a Conveyancing Legal Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting the conveyancing team, ensuring smooth progress for property transactions. From client communications to document preparation, you'll contribute to providing exceptional service and efficiency throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Interaction: Communicate with clients over the phone, by email, and in face-to-face meetings, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
2. Professional Liaison: Interact with solicitors, work providers, and other professional organisations to progress transactions.
3. Documentation Management: Set up client files in case management systems and request essential documentation.
4. Due Diligence: Carry out solicitor and client due diligence, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
5. Transaction Support: Log correspondence, update case management systems, and track progress on tasks.
6. Drafting: Prepare sale contracts, re-mortgage documents, and completion statements as required.
7. Lender Communication: Liaise with lenders for redemption statements, sales, and purchase matters.
8. Task Management: Ensure all key SLAs and KPIs are met and maintain high levels of compliance with internal policies and procedures.
9. General Administration: Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team.
10. Team Collaboration: Attend team meetings, contribute to discussions, and report directly to the Conveyancing Team Manager.
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience: Minimum of 1 year's experience in an admin role, ideally within residential conveyancing or a client care/customer service environment.
2. Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines, and excellent communication skills.
3. Attributes: Enthusiastic, able to work independently and as part of a team, with a professional telephone manner and a desire to learn and grow in the role.
