Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to support young learners in taking their first steps on their educational journey? We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and nurturing primary school in Burnley.
About the Role:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide a high standard of support for children in our Reception class. You will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that supports the emotional, social, and educational development of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities.
* Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
* Help to assess and monitor children’s progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
* Promote positive behaviour and manage transitions throughout the school day.
* Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of children at all times.

* Experience in EYFS/Reception or nurseries is essential.
* A solid understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
