We are seeking an experienced senior nurse ready to be an excellent nursing leader within the field of Emergency Nursing with the drive and enthusiasm to continuously improve patient experience, patient safety and the quality of care.
As a matron, you will work alongside the established senior nursing team and the senior management team, delivering quality of care, staff management, and patient experience as key priorities. Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated senior nurse to apply for the Matron role within our Emergency Care Village. This role will be predominantly based at Wythenshawe covering the Emergency Department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic senior nurse who has a proven track record for driving improvements, leading on change, and a real focus on patient safety and quality of care. The successful candidate will be an individual who wishes to inspire nurses to provide professional, evidence-based care and we would particularly welcome applications from individuals who have experience in both developing and sustaining a positive team culture. You will be value-driven and place our values; compassion, dignity, respect, consideration, empathy, and pride central to all service provision. We would like to see evidence of innovation and a commitment to clinical improvement projects which aim to both enhance service users’ experience and promote positive health outcomes.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, clear decision-making capabilities, be a vocal advocate for the patient, and have current knowledge and expertise in the care of patients in the acute illness phase and drive the quality and patient safety agenda.
