Role: Spares Coordinator role
Location: Based close to Diss, Norfolk
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm
Capacity of role: Permanent position
Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 per annum
Our client is a leading manufacturer and they are currently recruiting for a Spares Coordinator to join their busy office team. This role provides a pivotal service to the business.
Main duties will include:
1. Maintaining relationships with existing customers and ensuring their needs are met
2. Processing customer enquiries via phone or email for spares
3. Owning end-to-end sales process for spares, including liaising with customers and suppliers
4. Requesting quotes from suppliers and processing purchase to the best price and quality
5. Producing quotations and following them up
6. Converting enquiries to sales orders
7. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within your working environment and continuous improvement activities
8. Communicating with operations in all departments
9. Actively promoting spares sales for all contracts
10. Issuing priced recommended critical spares list for all new and recent contracts
11. Data entry on to our MRP system for sub con work
12. Being proactive in finding new business

4. IT Skills – must include Word, Excel, email and be familiar with MRP systems
