Project Planners - Offshore Wind Essential; Primavera P6 and Offshore wind or Oil and Gas Start as soon as possible, Full-time, Permanent or 12 month Contract The role of the Project Planner is to manage project plans while adhering to the required project planning standards, systems and procedures for the wind offshore team. In this role, you will support the business' activities across Europe. We require Project Planners to support the pipeline of projects within Europe with projects in Germany, Benelux, UK and Ireland. You would work as part of a large team and report to Project Director in all project planning related tasks such as: Description Deliver work in alignment with established planning protocols and procedures to facilitate the successful delivery of offshore wind projects. Carry out scenario modelling to identify opportunities for project enhancements and efficiencies. Design detailed work plans, structure outlines, and overarching project frameworks for the offshore wind team. Support teams by coordinating project schedules and planning activities. Oversee the creation, management, and regular updating of project schedules in line with the defined Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Keep project schedules current to enable accurate tracking, forecasting, and management of project progress. Ensure adherence to change management processes, including documenting and analysing change requests and orders. Verify that planning requirements are understood, implemented, and seamlessly integrated into the client’s and contractors’ systems. Generate and submit planning documentation for inclusion in routine project reports. Conduct assessments of risks, evaluate potential weather-related impacts, and propose solutions to mitigate delays. Develop and maintain alternative scenario plans to address potential disruptions or changes to project timelines. Required Skills and Experience Experience in planning offshore or marine construction work would be an advantage Experience in the design of elements of large construction projects (e.g. in offshore wind, energy, oil and gas companies or general engineering firms) in multidisciplinary teams Experience working in a team of planners Extensive knowledge of the software tools Primavera (V7 or higher) and MS Project Experience performing quantitative risk assessments using Oracle Primavera Risk Assessment Software Proactive and self-reliant way of working with good interpersonal skills Experience in creating reports with planning details in a clear and concise form that can be understood and used by the project teams. Fluent English (oral and written) Willingness to travel
