Job Opportunity: Technical Manager - Food Industry
Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a Technical Manager to ensure compliance with BRC standards, retailer manufacturing standards, and industry legislation at their North of England site. This site operates 24/7 with up to 300 contractors, and our client values their employees as key to their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee site Quality systems, legality, and governance.
* Lead BRC and customer COP compliance.
* Maintain HACCP system and microbiological standards.
* Manage customer audits and ensure food safety and hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with the Technical Team to implement updates to Customer Codes of Practice.
* Ensure safe working practices in Food Safety and Health & Safety.
Essential Criteria:
* Proven experience in food safety, GMP, and HACCP.
* Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related biological science.
* 4+ years in a technical food management role with multi-retailer exposure.
* Experience in managing hygiene teams in a high-care or high-risk manufacturing environment.
