We have a brand-new opportunity for a Regional Head of Delivery to join our Growth and Development team at Platform Housing Group. Our Growth and Development Team is an exciting place to be. What could you be doing as our Regional Head of Delivery?
The Regional Head of Delivery will be responsible for leading a Regional New Homes Delivery team to achieve business objectives and to meet the annual programme to the required standards of the Group. You will regularly monitor and take action in relation to engagement levels of the team.
You will be responsible for the delivery of Regional new build completions ensuring they are on time, to the stated quality, and within agreed budget, KPI, and business plan targets. Regular updates will be provided to Directors and stakeholders to ensure programme delivery is in line with Homes England and corporate Group targets.
Leading and developing a high-performing New Homes Delivery Team, you will deliver day-to-day management of development schemes from contract start through to the end of defects. You will also inspire and encourage an organisational culture that reflects our People Values, encouraging people to bring their best selves to work.
Some of the things we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with experience of delivering a programme of mixed tenure new homes. You will have a demonstrable background of leading and managing a high-performance construction programme that improves quality, cost, and timeliness of delivery, ideally gained in a multi-site environment.
Knowledge of Local and National Housing/Planning Policy, including Local Authority Planning Policies, Local Development Frameworks, Core Strategies, and Section 106 agreements is key in this role.
You will be a natural leader with excellent managerial and motivational skills. You will have the ability to express ideas verbally and in written form. It is essential that you can evidence continuing professional and personal development with awareness of the latest thinking, developments, and best practices in the field.
While this role is home-based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices and other locations as required. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park, Solihull, and Central Park, Worcester.
