Specialist Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation
Location: Compass Therapy Centre, Edinburgh
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Compass Therapy Support Community (operating as Compass Therapy Centre) is a registered charity established in Edinburgh over 40 years ago. We provide support and therapeutic services including Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to people in Edinburgh and the Lothians who live with neurological conditions.
Purpose of the role:
1. To work autonomously providing physiotherapy management to a designated caseload of people with neurological and MSK conditions.
2. To provide specialist interventions including AlterG Treadmill, Mollii Suit, and GMove Suit.
3. To liaise with both statutory and third sector organisations in addressing the client’s wider community health and wellbeing needs.

Person Specification:
1. Recognised professional qualifications in physiotherapy.
2. Registered with HCPC/BASRaT.
3. Expert clinical knowledge of neurological conditions.
4. Effective prioritisation and management skills.
5. High level of effective communication skills.
6. Engagement with external stakeholders.
7. Knowledge of professional guidelines and standards.
8. Demonstrable continuing professional development.
9. Flexibility to respond to changing service priorities.
