Jigsaw4u is a charity with a proud 26-year history providing specialist wellbeing support services for children, young people and families across South West London. Our services include support for children and young people in care; families affected by domestic abuse and crime; young people experiencing depression and anxiety; and parenting support programmes. We are seeking a personable and motivated Administrator to join our friendly Front of House team. This person will provide vital office support to our organisation so we are able to deliver services of the highest quality to our community. Handling enquiries by telephone and email. Managing room bookings. Purchasing consumables, stationery and other resources as required. Overseeing office maintenance and Health & Safety. Performing HR administration, and maintaining HR records. Arranging DBS checks for staff and volunteers. Coordinating training for staff and volunteers. The position is 35 hour per week, based full-time at our Mitcham Head Office. Hybrid working is not an option in this role due to it's client-facing nature. Person Specification E ssential 2 years experience working in an administrative role in an office environment Good knowledge of IT Confident working with Excel spreadsheets Effective communicator with excellent written English Excellent attention to detail Ability to demonstrate confidentiality and sensitivity when working with people Ability to build positive working relationships Ability to work to objectives, prioritise and meet deadlines Desirable Educated to Degree level or equivalent Experience working with HR processes and procedures Knowledge of charitable organisations and the voluntary sector Knowledge of safeguarding Jigsaw4u is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
