Job Title: Full-Time English Teacher (Supply)
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
* Location: Kendal Cumbria

* Pay: £115 - £150 per day depending upon experience
* Duration: Easter to July 2025

Role Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified English Teacher to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 to GCSE. This role includes planning, preparation, delivering lessons, and marking work to ensure a high standard of education and student progression. This position is perfect for an educator who is adaptable, motivated, and ready to make a positive impact during this pivotal term. Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic English lessons aligned with the curriculum.
* Teach English to students from Key Stage 3 to GCSE.
* Mark students' work and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
* Monitor and assess student progress to identify areas of improvement.
* Collaborate with colleagues to maintain the school's high standards of teaching and learning.
* Uphold school policies and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience in teaching English, with strong subject knowledge.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A proactive and flexible approach to teaching.
