Job Description
We are looking for an experienced engineering lead for the following duties:
1. Leading the Subsea Production Systems engineering and design scope (SPS) during FEED preparation and execution.
2. Involved in current pre-feed extension studies.
3. Responsible for the performance of the FEED CTR on time and on budget FEED deliverable submission for their scope of work.
4. Actively participate in the EPC CFT preparation.
5. Possess experience designing offshore Subsea Production Systems to ensure safe and optimum project delivery as well as reliable operation.
6. Perform all duties in line with Company procedures.
7. Be in charge of all Subsea Production Systems from Basic engineering, Detailed Engineering / Qualification / Manufacturing / Fabrication / Construction / Installation / Pre-Commissioning activities performed by Contractor, respecting local content requirements.
8. Review and approve SPS contractor engineering deliverables and coordinate the technical reviews.
9. Identify and solve, report technical issues that may arise during all Subsea Production Systems activities of the SPS package Lead.
10. Review the design of the SPS systems in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
11. Review calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure the integrity and reliability of subsea equipment.
12. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise subsea system performance.
13. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
14. Apply a system-level view and decision-making to typical activities such as PFDs, schematics, block diagrams, field layout, production assurance/flow assurance, reliability/availability modelling, testing and commissioning philosophies, material selection, coatings, and CP, process safety, protection, and risk management.
15. Identify, evaluate, and report the key system technical risks, seeking mitigations where possible and populating the risk registers ensuring critical.
16. Liaise with Project QHSES, QAQC, to ensure that the SPS scope is designed to be safe, operable, and maintainable.
17. Assist QA/QC manager with all quality issues related to SPS engineering.
18. Attend all SPS engineering meetings, routine and subject-specific, to pursue Contractor’s resolution and close-out of documents.
19. Ensure that agreed project battery limits are adhered to.
The Absheron Conventional Gas & Condensates field is located offshore Azerbaijan Republic in the Caspian Sea at about 100km southeast of Baku, 25km north-east of Shah Deniz field, and 34km south of Oil Rocks production and processing facilities. The project aims at supplying natural gas for both the domestic market via Sangachal main facilities (condensate) and for the international export market via the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP).
