We are looking to recruit Part Time Receptionists who are enthusiastic, self-motivated and have a passion for delivering excellent patient care. The successful candidates should be confident, professional with excellent telephone skills with the ability to multi-task. GP practice experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
We are looking for someone who is available to work 20 hours over 4 days between the hours of 7:45am-6:45pm Monday to Friday. Shifts/days to be agreed. Flexibility is essential.

* Previous experience in primary care preferred but not essential; we are looking for people that are flexible and able to help cover sickness and holidays in the team.
Main Duties of the Job
Duties to include:
* Maintaining and monitoring the Practice appointment system
* Answering incoming phone calls and dealing with them appropriately
* Dealing with patient requests appropriately
* Data entry into patients' records as necessary
* Processing of prescriptions
* Signposting patients to appropriate services
* Dealing with requests from patients, other team members, and external agencies
* Handling new and temporary registrations and patient documentation/information as required
* Photocopying documentation as required
* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and effective working area at all times
* Maintaining confidentiality at all times
* Other duties commensurate with the role

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
Experience
* Experience of working in a GP practice
