Job Description Nursery Room Leader Salary: Up to £33,000 40 hours per week Our client, a well-established nursery, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their team. This role will involve overseeing the care and education of children within a specific room while leading and supporting a team of nursery practitioners. What We’re Looking For: Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years or a relevant childcare qualification. Proven experience in a leadership or senior role within a nursery setting, with responsibilities for supervising and mentoring a team. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and support staff to deliver the highest standards of care. Solid understanding of early years education, child development, and best practices in childcare. A genuine passion for working with young children and creating a nurturing, engaging environment that supports their growth and development. Team Supervision: Mentor and guide the team of nursery practitioners, providing support and feedback to maintain a positive and productive environment. Curriculum Implementation: Lead the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, fostering children’s development across all areas. Parent Engagement: Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and caregivers, offering regular updates and addressing any concerns. Health & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment that complies with all safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
