About the role of Quantity Surveyor
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be a key element in ensuring the company secures it's full entitlement within the parameters of the contract and further commercial negotiations.
This is will be working within the Social Housing industry, specifically Kitchen & Bathrooms. You'll be working in Domestic and High-rise Buildings with 50% void and 50% tenanted alongside Birmingham Council.
Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor
Consistent communication with line managers to maximise cash flow through monthly invoicing and implementing appropriate procedures to resolve client queries.
Ensure accurate cash flow forecasts and revenue profiles are in place, accurate and updated regularly.
Manage external valuations when submitted so that they are in accordance with conditions of the main contract.
Preparation and reporting of CVR, CVC and management accounts.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor
Previous experience in a similar role.
IT knowledge - incl. Pivot tables V-Look up and formula development.
Knowledge of the Social Housing Sector.Desired:
Experience with Contract Law
Professional Accountancy Qualifications or working towards.
Skilled in Dispute Resolution
