This role is critical to the success of Ramsden International, working closely with all functions in the business. The role requires a strong drive and the ability to work independently towards short deadlines. Relationship building will be key to this role as you will be responsible for speaking to external agencies and pushing ideas forward internally.
Role Responsibilities
* Manage and review current range to ensure suitability for sale with the European single market
* Management of complex data over a range of spreadsheets and systems
* Working with a diverse range of stakeholders to agree any range changes
* Gathering data from manufacturers and key suppliers
* Build strong relationships with Department of Business and Trade (DBT) to ensure Ramsden International have a contact for key information when required
* Work closely with IT team to develop and refine current system usage
* Design and implement new processes to speed up order processing and accuracy
* Attend regular training and webinars to stay up to date on legislation changes
* Support in creation of training documents
* Assist with design, compilation, and maintenance of system operating procedures
* Adopting and encouraging continuous improvement within the department applying lean methodologies to current processes
* To provide support and advise to sales team when entering a new territory with regulatory advice and information
* Complete required documentation accurately and on time to ensure successful export to the EU and Internationally
* Be part of a customer centric, world leading compliance function that has the customer at the heart of everything you do
* Support other business functions, as and when required
* Support with any ADHOC business projects

* Critical problem-solving ability. You'll often have to make decisions on the information available, which is not always in black and white
* An ability to analyse and interpret information quickly

* Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels
* Problem solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box and come up with workable solutions
Person Specification
This role would suit someone who has a keen eye for detail and has strong time management and organisational skills. You will need to be self-motivated and be comfortable with working independently under minimal supervision. The successful candidate needs strong excel skills and a real drive for continuous improvement and personal development.
