Personal Assistant to Clinical Director. Case Management and Expert Witness.
£28,000 to £32,000 per annum (pro-rata) depending on experience.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Clinical Director & Lead Expert Witness of Pressman Health. The successful candidate will manage diaries, assist in report typing, proofreading, coordinate travel plans, and handle expense management. This role requires exceptional multitasking abilities, strong attention to detail, and superb communication skills.
Working from the directors’ home office near St Briavels. Hours flexible to suit childcare/care commitments. Car essential as rural location.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Draft, type, and proofread detailed reports, correspondence, and presentations.
2. Maintain and organise electronic and paper files for easy retrieval.
3. Prepare and manage a high volume of emails and communications with discretion and confidentiality.
4. Efficiently manage and coordinate the Director’s schedule, appointments, and meetings.
5. Ensure all commitments are accurately recorded and necessary materials are prepared in advance.
6. Proactively anticipate scheduling conflicts and provide solutions.
7. Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and transportation.
8. Create detailed itineraries and ensure all necessary travel documents are prepared.
9. Handle last-minute changes or cancellations.
10. Process and manage expense reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
11. Monitor spending and adhere to budgeting constraints.
12. Liaise with finance director for smooth reimbursement processes.
13. Research and gather data for case management and expert witness cases and projects.
14. Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents as required.
15. Provide occasional personal support to the Director, including handling personal appointments and tasks.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role.
2. Excellent typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. High level of discretion and confidentiality.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving.
8. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
