Job Title: Product Quality Specialist (Methods and Tools)
Salary: Circa £ 45,000 depending on experience
Location: Bolton (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 1-2 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The opportunity: This role will appeal to a proven quality and/or engineering professional who wishes to accept the challenge of driving step change improvements for product assurance and quality in an international, high technology environment. * Process Development: Lead the development, deployment and sustainment of quality assurance processes, methods and tools; with a focus on positive product quality management.
* Innovation: Explore and exploit technology advances to deliver innovative solutions to current day quality challenges; especially in the realms of advanced data analytics using artificial language towards a predictive and prescriptive quality capability.
* Training & Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to meet user needs and ensure competence of the user base.
* User Support: Manage support requests, incidents, issues, system evolutions and business continuity activities in order to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
* Improve & Standardize: Implement best practices throughout the product lifecycle to improve quality and reduce issues, ensuring standards that are recognized within the industry.
What we're looking for from you:
* Operational experience in product quality management.
* Experience of working in an aerospace/defence engineering business - preferred, not essential.
* Working knowledge of ERP systems, and in particular SAP QM / SAP HANA, together with SAP project and change management experience - beneficial, but not essential.
* Strong communication skills.
* Highly self-motivated and demonstrating a determination and persistence to deliver results.
