Assistant Management Accountant required for a new and exciting permanent position working for a well established business based in Solihull. This is a newly created position, which will be working under the Financial Controller and assisting with the day to day running of the finance department. Your duties will include cash posting, bank reconciliations, treasury, stock reconciliations, job costing reporting on WIP, posting journals, analysing margin, fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations, assisting with any other month end duties as and supporting the financial controller when required. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant looking for that next step up. You will ideally have experience working within a similar role and have a thirst for learning. You must also have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work under minimal supervision and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups).
