This role focuses on looking after our plants in client offices in London. Our technicians provide excellent customer service and are knowledgeable about the maintenance and care of office plants. This is an independent role which involves early starts each day, taking ownership for plant maintenance at several client sites, on a 3-week rota. Technicians are part of a regional team of like-minded plant specialists who meet regularly both online and in person.
Responsibilities
* Maintain to a high standard internal plant displays at a number of client sites every day.
* Provide excellent customer service, including completing site reports and maintaining accurate data in our company systems.
* Work with your line manager and scheduler to ensure all rounds are completed efficiently and accurately.
* Work safely and in line with all risk assessments and method statements.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Good problem solver.
* A passion for plants.
* Able to navigate London either in a company van or using public transport.
* Comfortable working independently but able to share knowledge and information with the wider team.
* Able to orient yourself in large office buildings.
* Some specialist horticultural knowledge (but full training will be provided).
* Physically able to use watering cans, stepladders, and stools as part of the daily job.
* Experience working in a service industry.
* Experience working across multiple sites is desirable.
* Experience driving in cities is desirable (although ‘walking technician’ roles are also available).
* Experience in planting or horticulture is desirable.
Other Key Information
* Role is based at client sites so you will need to have access to good public transport links into London (zones 1-6) or a driving licence to use a Company van.
