Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Cleaning Team Leader
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
SALARY: £30,000.00 p.a. increasing to £31,742.00 (following successful completion of probationary period of 6 months)
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 10:00hrs - 18:00hrs
JOB INTRODUCTION:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our friendly team working in GMP manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied and providing support to the team members and liaising with the customer.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Cleaning, washing walls, sweeping, emptying of litter bins, cleaning of equipment as required to always keep a high audit standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce GDP (Good Document Practice) Compliant reports and documentation.
* Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
* Ensure accurate completion of area logbooks as required by SOPs.
* Ensure regular checks of the equipment and machines used during the working day. Any faults/defects to be reported to the customer.
* Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to the customer.
* Attend training sessions pertaining to the post.
* Carry out any duties as required.
* Liaise daily with other members of the cleaning team, other staff, and customers.
* All employees are required to adhere to Quality, Compliance and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and Micronclean procedures applicable to their role. Training will be provided to ensure that the procedures are understood, and responsibilities are defined.
The Candidate:
* Must have a good level of written and spoken English.
* Reasonable standard of fitness as job holder on feet for most of the day.
* Prepared to always wear full uniform.
* Prepared to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Line Manager and in accordance with the working instructions / procedures.
* Good standard of IT literacy – Microsoft Office.
* Flexible regarding ability to support other shift patterns when required.
* Experience within a similar industry.
* Team worker with a flexible approach.
* Knowledge of COSHH.
* An understanding of GMP and quality systems.
* Machinery skills.
