Job Overview: As an Online Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in driving our online marketing efforts and enhancing our brand presence across various digital platforms. You will assist in executing digital marketing campaigns, creating content, analysing performance data, and supporting the overall marketing strategy. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and execution of online marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, and paid advertising.
Support the creation of engaging content for our website, blog, social media accounts, and other digital platforms.
Monitor and manage social media accounts, responding to customer inquiries, comments, and messages.
Help analyse and report on the performance of online campaigns, including tracking KPIs such as website traffic, conversion rates, and ROI.
Assist in email marketing campaigns, including designing, scheduling, and reporting on campaign performance.
Collaborate with the team to ensure marketing materials align with the company’s brand voice and messaging.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
Support the team with other digital marketing tasks as needed, including website updates, SEO optimisation, and content planning.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in digital marketing or online marketing (internship or job experience).
Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Canva).
Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing best practices.
Creative writing and content creation skills for digital platforms.
Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Qualifications:
A degree or qualification in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
A passion for digital marketing and staying up to date with the latest trends and tools.
Additionally:
Cultural awareness & understanding of the British, Pakistani, Indian, and Bangladeshi communities. Proficiency in Urdu, Hindi, Bangla, and English is highly beneficial for effectively connecting with our customer base.
