Job Opportunity: Skilled Aircraft Electrician
We are collaborating with the world's largest aircraft manufacturer to recruit Skilled Aircraft Electricians for their renowned site in Broughton, within the Wing Build Production section.
The wings of an aircraft are among the most technically complex parts of the aircraft's structure, crucial for aerodynamic performance and eco-efficient solutions.
Qualifications: Applicants should have completed an Engineering qualification, aerospace apprenticeship, or military equivalent, with experience as a fully trained Aircraft Electrician.
Job Description
* Work as a skilled Aircraft Electrician in a wing build production environment.
* Perform assembly and installation of electrical assemblies, wiring looms, and conduct functional testing/troubleshooting of electrical systems.
* Fit and assemble aircraft components, including repairing metallic and composite materials.
* Work involves confined spaces, working at heights, and may be physically demanding.
Candidate Requirements
* Self-motivated with good communication skills.
* Ability to work independently or within a team.
* Embrace continuous improvement initiatives.
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, following all relevant risk assessments and PPE guidelines.
Shifts
Available shifts include:
* Double Days: Week 1 - 06:00 to 13:10, Week 2 - 13:30 to 20:40 (Monday to Friday)
* Nights: 20:45 to 06:00 (Monday to Thursday)
Please note: Candidates must have completed an engineering-based apprenticeship, meeting both academic and vocational requirements such as Indenture, City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC, Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Levels 2 or 3, Key Skills Level 2, or equivalent in a recognized engineering field.
