What you will be doing:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end data migration strategy, ensuring seamless transfer of critical data while maintaining its quality and integrity.
You will collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to align data migration activities with organisational goals, priorities, and deliver successful outcomes. Acting as a bridge between business and technology, you will play a key role in managing risks, resolving challenges, and continuously improving the migration process.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Defining and driving the data migration roadmap, ensuring seamless transition of critical data between systems while minimising disruption.
2. Creating, prioritising, and refining a migration-specific product backlog, ensuring tasks are delivered on time and to a high quality.
3. Developing the vision, strategy, and market/user research in line with the CDO’s strategy.
4. Collaborating with Product Owners, Solution Managers, and cross-functional Product Managers to ensure alignment towards the same program increment objectives.
5. Validating and presenting the business case to the C-Level Executives and leading business reviews to ensure the right features are prioritised.
6. Building and maintaining a trusting relationship with product owners, business analysts, engineering teams, and vendors.
7. Representing the Data teams in ideation workshops with cross-functional leaders where new ideas are identified along with customer needs, pain points, and solution options.
8. Translating product vision and strategy into a data platform delivery roadmap.
Travel will be expected to our Chatham and Wolverhampton offices with presence in London being required on a frequent basis.
In return for your commitment:
We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £75,000 - £85,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
1. Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 25%.
2. £6,000 Car allowance.
3. 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Could you be the one?
We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:
1. Previous work experience in financial services as a Product Owner/Management or similar role is essential.
2. Previous experience working with a multi-disciplinary team on customer and business-focused data products and services.
3. Experience communicating developments and changes to a variety of stakeholders at differing levels.
4. In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
