Location: Morpeth (On-site role) Job Type: Full-time Salary: [£525 per day] We are seeking a dedicated Associate Educational Psychologist to join our team. This is a non-remote role, where you will provide specialist psychological services to schools, supporting learners, teachers, and parents through consultation, assessment, therapy, and intervention. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Education, Health, and Care Needs Assessment (EHCNA) reports. Provide targeted and specialist psychological consultation, assessment, and advice to schools. Offer both direct and indirect therapeutic support for learners, collaborating with parents, carers, and staff. Work with Inclusion Leaders across Wessex to implement the Trust’s Integrated Inclusion Offer and early intervention strategy. Identify and mitigate risks associated with masking and school-related trauma. Build trusting relationships with learners, acting as a mentor and advocate to ensure they feel secure and supported. Support the Wessex Inclusion Team in working with children displaying dysregulated behavior. Assist learners during social times, modeling positive interactions and fostering a comfortable environment. Engage in and facilitate school activities that promote emotional well-being and inclusion. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Educational Psychologist with experience in school-based psychological services. Strong understanding of specialist interventions, therapeutic support, and inclusion strategies. Ability to work closely with head teachers, SENCOs, teachers, and parents to create positive outcomes. Experience working with children who have additional needs, school-related anxiety, or behavioral challenges. Passionate about early intervention, inclusion, and mental health support in education.
