Role Purpose: o To create electrical designs and procure specialist packages in heavy industries What you'll be doing As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will have the following accountabilities; o Design LV electrical distribution systems o Create the following documentation: o Specifications & Datasheets o Cable Calculations & Schedules o Drawings (via CAD team) o Review and check manufacturer document / information for compliance with project specifications. o Develop and maintain relationships with relevant technical consultants and suppliers. Who we're looking for Qualities and experience: o Must be proficient in Trimble (Amtech) ProDesign. o Clear focus on collaboration and building relationships with other designers and project teams to deliver cost effective and acceptable design solution o Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and write clearly and succinctly o Promote innovation and continuous improvement in design. o Excellent IT Skills are desirable. o Microsoft Office experience is essential including Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint. o Detailed knowledge of codes of practice and other regulatory material. o Experience in a broad range of heavy industries such as Petrochemical, Power Generation, Renewables and Nuclear. Beneficial experience: o Design of HV electrical systems o Use of AutoCAD and/or Revit software o Use of Dialux or Relux software o Use of SKM, ETAP, Digsilent, PSCAD software o Design of ATEX systems Why work for our client?
