This is a key senior role where you'll be at the forefront of winning railway and construction labour contracts, expanding our client base, and strengthening relationships with existing contractors and labour suppliers. This is not just a back-office role—we need someone who thrives on being out in the field, meeting clients, securing contracts, and building a strong pipeline. You'll work alongside our labour team to ensure PACE is the go-to supplier for skilled labour, supporting our position as a trusted partner in the industry. What You'll Be Doing ✅ Winning Work & Driving Growth – Identifying and securing new labour supply contracts across the rail and construction sectors. ✅ Client & Contractor Management – Strengthening relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities. ✅ Strategic Networking – Attending site visits, client meetings, and industry events to promote PACE and expand our reach. ✅ Building Our Workforce Database – Ensuring we have the right people, in the right places, at the right time, and identifying skilled talent to meet client demand. ✅ Commercial Awareness – Understanding labour supply pricing, contract negotiations, and margin management to ensure sustainable growth. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management in railway, construction, or labour supply industries. Confident in winning work and securing contracts—able to open doors, negotiate deals, and close business. Strong industry knowledge – understands the challenges and opportunities in supplying contingent labour. Self-starter with initiative – someone who can take ownership, drive strategy, and make things happen. Exceptional communication & relationship-building skills – able to engage with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
