VACANCY: Maintenance Engineer
LOCATION: Rotherham, S60 (Close to Meadowhall, Sheffield)

Our inhouse capabilities include, large format Laser Cutting and Press Braking, CNC Precision Machining, Fabrication & Welding, Shot Blasting, Painting and final Assembly.
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for completing planned and reactive maintenance of all plant equipment. Our Maintenance Engineers provide full technical engineering support to the manufacturing function, involved in preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, to minimise downtime, reduce costs and maximise productivity. All actions need to be carried out in a safe and professional manner, reporting to supervisors, and filling out daily shift reports and other necessary paperwork.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
1. Organising routine servicing schedules / PPM schedules for multiple machines
2. Research principles of machine operation to facilitate repairs
3. Diagnose and fit new parts
4. Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns
5. Fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed
6. Making scheduled checks on machinery and parts
7. Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule
8. Working with OEM engineers
9. Modifying machinery to fit our requirements
10. Identifying and sourcing parts needed on breakdowns
11. Working with H&S department
12. Working solely on machinery to identify problems
13. Working at height essential
14. Ability to read and transfer schematic drawings to diagnosing machines
ABOUT YOU:
1. Full exposure to maintenance, repairs and breakdowns within a metal fabrication / manufacturing environment
2. Full exposure to industrial electrics (400v 3 phase)
3. A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
5. Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
7. Skills in Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Mechanical and electrical essential
8. Hands on approach to any issue raised in the factory
