As a Business Analysis Manager - Vice President in Graphite Payments Transformation team for JPMorgan Chase, you will drive initiatives under stringent timelines and in a fast-paced dynamic environment. You will be expected to have strong communication and influencing skills, strategic thinking, collaboration with multiple impacted teams, flexibility, and result-driven approach. You must have leadership and project management skills with an ability to drive projects in close partnership with Operations, Product and Technology partners.
Job Responsibilities
1. Defines the business requirements for development and commercialization of new product capabilities.
2. Articulates and documents process flows including customer interactions and Operations intervention.
3. Covers functional and non-functional requirements including but not limited to Product features, Operational requirements, Regulatory and Compliance requirements, User Interface, Client reporting, Sanctions, Resiliency, and Scalability.
4. Performs impact analysis for business initiatives to determine key business groups that will consequently be required to undergo technical or operational process change.
5. Partners closely with Product and Technology partners to help define globally consistent platform architecture.
6. Conducts gap analysis as required to determine the degree of change emergent from business initiatives.
7. Works with User Acceptance Testing team to determine the testing strategy and ensure thorough testing of all capabilities.
8. Tracks the overall progress of an initiative and identifies any possible red flags, collaborating with various stakeholders for resolution of the issues to ensure timely completion of the projects.
9. Drives Operations readiness to support new product roll-out by ensuring documentation of process flows, operational procedures, training, user entitlements, clearly defined roles and responsibilities, and establishing an escalation matrix.
10. Anticipates internal and external factors impacting the global payment strategy and implements plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
11. Performs defect analysis, prioritization, and exploring alternative solutions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
1. Strong commercial Payments knowledge covering high value SWIFT and clearing flows.
2. Previous experience in Banking / Financial services.
3. Well versed with Agile methodology and experience in driving projects under the said framework.
4. Strong Project management skills and ability to work independently.
5. Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
6. Strategic thinker with ability to define future state business model and drive execution to that effect.
7. Ability to multi-task and manage and deliver competing priorities.
8. Self-motivated, tenacious with excellent time management/prioritization skills.
9. Experience in designing, delivering & presenting executive level content.
10. Adept at working in matrix organizations and dynamic high-performance teams.
11. Able to leverage the organization to deliver results quickly.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
1. Prior experience in driving large scale strategic projects preferred.
