You will require strong interpersonal skills to interact with members of the ILS and engineering teams, as well as interface with the customer.
You should be experienced in working on UK MOD programmes, specifically those with a strong IT element.
You will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and reporting on the status of the ILS programme.
You will be comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative, delivery-focused environment. Your experience in the defence sector will further enhance your ability to work closely with the customer.
Skills and Knowledge
1. Ability to define a full ILS Programme of work, including creation of an Integrated Support Plan and associated ILS element plans.
2. Skills to conduct Supportability Analysis in sufficient detail to influence system design; conducting analysis and trade-off among architecture design alternatives; and developing and controlling a Total Cost of Ownership / Life Cycle Cost (TCO/LCC) model.
3. Skills and knowledge to perform Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) analysis including Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Levels of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA). Also, the ability to construct Reliability Block Diagrams using proprietary software tools.
4. Spares Ranging and Scaling using software tools.
5. Management and delivery of the Technical Documentation programme in accordance with Army Equipment Support Publication (AESP) standards.
6. Identification and documentation of Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) solutions.
7. Identification and documentation of disposal solutions.
8. Skills and knowledge regarding software support.
9. Skills and knowledge of Obsolescence Management processes.
10. Skills and knowledge with respect to the construction, management, and maintenance of a Logistics Information Repository (LIR).
11. Skills and knowledge of Configuration Management.
12. Knowledge of Def Stan 00-600 and Defence Logistics Framework (DLF).
13. Experience of working within Agile, including SAFe delivery approaches.
