We are seeking to appoint to our One Adoption South Yorkshire (OASY) Head of Service role covering Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley and Sheffield.
Within this role you will lead on regional adoption practice with the aim to deliver the best outcomes for children who have a plan of adoption. You will act as the lead principal advisor to the OASY board and chair providing expert, specialist and timely information, advice and guidance to ensure OASY achieves its strategic goals, outcomes and priorities.
You will have strategic and overall responsibility for the OASY hub team (hosted in Doncaster) and then the four area based teams.
In order to support best outcomes for our children to local adoption families and post adoption support outcomes you will be able to establish and develop strong and effective partnerships and your commitment to working with others is critical.
You will need to be able to provide support and challenge and bring negotiating and influencing skills to working across 4 local authorities ensuring we achieve our ambition to support children with plans of adoption stay local.
