At College Town Primary School, we are always looking to complement and grow our team so that children can reach their full potential. We are looking to recruit to our Early Years Team due to increased numbers for our popular Nursery and are seeking experienced childcare professionals who fully understand and appreciate the importance of the EYFS.
Qualities we will be looking for include good communication skills, flexibility, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate self and others. Candidates will also need to demonstrate good spoken language skills, accompanied by qualifications in both English and mathematics.
The successful candidates will need to:
* Display genuine empathy towards young children
* Promote communication through their ability to engage and foster excellent relationships with our pupils
* Promote a culture of learning that is exciting, challenging, and rewarding
* Foster independence in every child and enable them to improve
* Have an open and positive attitude
* Have high expectations of learning, progress, and behaviour
We currently have 2 vacancies:
* 15 hours per week, 9 a.m. to 12 noon, Monday to Friday, term time only. This is a temporary contract to August 2025.
* 12.5 hours per week, 12:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., Monday to Friday, term time only. This is a temporary contract to August 2025.
