We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Production Cook to join our team In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for students in a high school environment. Your focus will be on maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency while creating a positive dining experience for students.
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook meals according to the school’s menu, ensuring nutritional guidelines are met.
* Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen.
* Assist with meal planning, portion control, and managing dietary requirements.
* Monitor inventory, ensuring supplies are used efficiently and replenished as needed.
* Maintain effective communication with kitchen staff, school administrators, and suppliers.
* Follow school and government regulations related to food service in an educational environment.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a cook in a similar role, ideally within an educational or large-scale catering environment.
* PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) certification is essential.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
