We can’t do it without you! Come and embark on the journey to a vibrant future with us, where the work you do will make a real impact.
About this opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic and motivated to join our Safeguarding Hub as the Information and Advice Officer. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate excellent people and communication skills, with an ability to actively listen, gather and interpret information to provide the right advice to families. An understanding of local services would also be an asset in this role.
About the role:
As the Advice and Information Officer, you will contribute to making decisions to ensure that the right help and support reaches children and families, at the right time.
You will also be responsible for providing information to the Courts and to other Local Authorities, when requested. You will need to be able to work efficiently and understand how to prioritise tasks to respond to requests within timescales.
The post holder should be skilled at developing relationships which enable the Safeguarding Hub and our partners to have effective lines of communication to keep children safe and ensure that children and their families have the right help at the right time.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who has a passion for improving outcomes for children, young people and their families. Working within a multi-agency Safeguarding Hub, you will work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues, speak with families, and where appropriate, speak with young people. Listening carefully to what children and families tell us will help us provide the right support for them.
