A well established care company that provides support to young people across the West Midlands have vacancies for a Deputy Manager to work in one of their care homes based in the West Midlands. They have the following locations: Cannock, Lichfield, Burton Upon Trent, Wednesbury, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich an Birmingham.
The role of the Residential Deputy Manager is outlined below;
Residential Deputy Manager
* Salary: £28,000 - £32,000, with the potential to earn up to £35,000+ including bonuses.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Home Manager in managing daily operations and administrative tasks.
* Managing the home during the Home Manager's absence.
* Supervision, appraisal, and training of staff.
* Ensuring adherence to high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
* Specific Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience in residential care settings with supervisory or management experience preferred.
* Essential: Good understanding of relevant regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
* Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent, with an expectation to work towards a Level 5 qualification if not already obtained
