Based in Kidderminster
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career within the security and communications industry. You would be required to proactively sell the companys full portfolio of integrated Fire Alarm and AOV solutions to both new and existing customers. You will need to have excellent communication skills.
The role involves: -
Preparation of designs and quotations for, but not limited to, Fire Alarm Systems.
Collaborating with our Business Development Teams in Kidderminster, Mansfield, Birmingham and Nottingham.
Carrying out site surveys as and when required.
Ensuring designs fully comply with all applicable regulations and standards.
Working to defined quotas, deadlines, and budgets.
Communicate and build successful working relationships with customers and other employees.
Key experience/qualifications:
You will ideally be a Level 3 qualified designer and accomplished estimator within the fire industry with at least 3 years experience of designing and estimating fire alarm systems. The role may also suit an experienced engineer looking to develop their career (minimum of 5 years experience as an engineer).
You will have an excellent working knowledge of BS5839 parts 1 & 6, Requirements of the RRFSO, BS7273-4, BS9999, BS9991, Approved Document B etc.
Good IT skills and a familiarity with Microsoft software.
Have a keen interest in technology and providing innovative and cost-effective solutions.
