General Practitioner Mount Pleasant Practice

Main Duties of the Job
1. Flexible Appointment System: We offer a mix of 10 and 15 minute face-to-face consultations and telephone consultations.
2. Supportive Team: Our practice is made up of a diverse, skilled team, including ANP, Pharmacist, Pharmacist Technician, and a Physiotherapist who holds weekly appointments. This helps reduce pressure on our GPs and ensures patients are supported by the right professionals.
3. Streamlined Workflow: We are an EMIS Web practice, and we use the Klink triage system to optimize patient flow, with all necessary patient information pre-screened and available before consultations.
4. Minimal Admin: Our use of Workflow and Pathology Go helps to reduce administrative tasks, enabling earlier finish times.
5. Beautiful Location: Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, AONB, our practice serves a resilient, welcoming community, with excellent schools and access to rural market towns.
6. Supportive Environment: We offer a friendly, collaborative team ethos with regular team-building events and bi-annual clinical team meals.
About Us
Mount Pleasant is a forward-thinking practice, employing a diverse multi-disciplinary team, including a paramedic and ANP, plus well-being practitioners supporting our GPs. We provide an extensive range of high-quality services, working over 2 sites on the edge of the Wye Valley AONB. Job Responsibilities
1. The post holder will undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, checking and signing of repeat prescriptions, and dealing with queries in a timely fashion.
2. Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
3. Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
4. Assisting in the establishment of appropriate systems to manage common chronic medical conditions.
5. Completion of clinically related administrative and non-clinical duties needed for the delivery of the service.
6. Refer patients for further opinions and interventions according to Practice protocols.
7. Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
8. Prescribing in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary whenever this is clinically appropriate.
9. In general, the post holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Depending on experience Pay Per Session: £10,450.00 for 4 sessions a week.
