Opportunity for a School Business Support Administrator
Hourly Rate: £13.29 per hour @ 18 hours per week over 3 days, term time plus 1 week, fixed until August 31st 2025 in the first instance.

The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a dedicated and committed Business Support Administrator. Must be flexible and reliable with an eye for detail.

• Experienced school administrators that already have a good understanding of how schools operate, as well as
• Career focused individuals who want to learn how the business of school works and would be encouraged to complete a school business management qualification alongside their work
This post is fixed term in the first instance until 31.8.2025. This post will be part time, term time (18 hours per week 9am – 12pm Wednesday, 8.30am-4.30pm Thursday and Friday) plus 1 week.
Barrow 1618 CofE Free School needs a Business Support Administrator who:
• Have at least an appropriate Level 3 NVQ Business Support qualification or equivalent.
• Have Financial /Administrative experience gained within a school or educational setting
• Is responsible for day to day purchasing, processing and payment of invoices
• Can use ICT effectively, with oversight of the school MIS, Parentpay and operational systems
• Administration support of new and in-year school admissions transfers, liaising with respective parents and schools. Ensuring all required paperwork is completed and entered accordingly onto the school MIS and providing reports as required.
• Support with the preparation of audit deliverables
• Work effectively as part of a team. Be energetic, positive, committed and determined to support the success of the school.
