Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a role within the Trust's Operational Transformation Team. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, innovative, and experienced in project management, operations, and analytics to deliver a challenging but exciting programme of change. You will have the opportunity to hold a key role in the Trust, driving the implementation of existing strategic and operational transformation plans, and developing plans in partnership with other organisations.
You will be a key part of the Trust's Operational Transformation Team and will be accountable to the Chief Operating Officer. On a day-to-day basis, aligned to your portfolio of schemes, you will have operational responsibility to the relevant CBU Managers and the Senior Transformation Delivery Manager. You will work closely with CBU Managers, clinical directors, and lead nurses to effect change in a timely manner, aligned with the Trust's values and governance procedures. An overarching CIP programme will be linked to certain transformation projects and monitored through the Finance team to ensure delivery against plan.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the Trust's Operational Transformation Team, you will be responsible for effective planning, delivery, and monitoring of projects supported through the transformation programmes.
1. You will develop highly collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to deliver your portfolio's outcomes.
2. You will provide professional leadership and guidance to the wider trust and staff regarding project management, monitoring, and leadership.
3. You will critically analyze information and risks to inform decision-making.
4. You will work with CBUs to use finance and performance data to identify areas for CIPs and transformation.
5. You will support CBUs to manage changes smoothly and in a planned manner.
6. You will assist CBUs in understanding the impact of their changes on other areas of the Trust, ensuring plans benefit the whole Trust.
7. You will ensure projects adhere to best practices in programme and project management.
8. You will ensure links between finance, information, HR, operations, and transformation are maintained, keeping teams well-informed.

Person Specification
Experience (Essential):
* Undergraduate degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience
* Masters level study or equivalent experience
* Experience working within the NHS
* Understanding of acute patient pathways and service delivery
* Knowledge of service improvement tools and techniques
* Experience monitoring change and facilitating staff in changing practices
* Ongoing self-led professional development
* Knowledge of clinical and corporate governance and risk management systems
Desirable:
* Experience in an NHS acute environment
