Finance Analyst - Performance Marketing & Trade

We're the UK's number one choice for homewares because we make home life lovelier for our customers. We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Finance Analyst to join our Business Finance team. In this role, you will take ownership of performance marketing-related costs, provide support for digital trade, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performance Marketing Cost
o Support all performance marketing-related costs, including handling month-end postings, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
o Ensure accuracy in month-end reporting and align forecasts with marketing objectives.
2. Financial Reporting & Cost Centre Management
o Prepare Performance Marketing/Cost Centre slides for Executive Performance Reviews (EPR).
o Support the preparation and consolidation of monthly reports, ensuring they provide clear insights into cost management.
o Support cost centre budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes, including variance analysis and outturn projections.
o Continuously review and challenge cost centre performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.
3. Performance Marketing and Investment Support
o Support Performance Marketing Non-Stock Capital Expenditure (NsCaps), including reviewing and challenging business cases and investment requests.
o Support with ROI reporting: Weekly or monthly review of actual ROI by category to understand performance and highlight any risks/opportunities.
4. Digital Trade Support
o Support digital trading teams by running standard reporting and producing weekly Order Level Profitability (OLP) with financial data and insights.

* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide clear, actionable insights.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
