For our "IT Operations" division we are looking for a
IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d)
You will be part of a 10-person team in which mutual support is a top priority. Respectful and appreciative interaction - both with our customers and with each other - is particularly important to us. You will be based at our office in Kassel. This position is a full-time position, which is in principle divisible.

Your tasks and responsibilities
* You plan, design and implement customer networks - from analysis to successful implementation
* You carry out hardware and software rollouts and ensure smooth integration
* Installation, administration and maintenance of Windows server systems and clients are among your core tasks
* You integrate third-party products into existing IT environments and ensure their functionality
* You will analyze and resolve hardware and software problems and support customers with technical challenges
* As part of 2nd level support in accordance with ITIL, you will provide competent support in the event of faults and service requests
* You ensure data backups, carry out restore tests and perform regular maintenance work
The level of pay is based on a salary up to EG 10 TVöD (VKA) and will be subject to a final individual assessment and personal qualifications.

What you bring with you
* Completed training in the IT sector, e.g. as an IT specialist, IT business administrator or a degree in computer science or business informatics
* Ideally relevant professional experience in a comparable position
* Good knowledge of network planning, configuration and maintenance
* Interest and experience in dealing with hardware and software components and in diagnosing and rectifying faults, as well as a willingness to familiarize yourself with these areas
* Experience in the installation and configuration of applications and in IT support
* Knowledge of network technologies (e.g. virtualization, exchange, routing, switching, WLAN, backup systems)
* Basic knowledge of common operating systems, especially Windows server versions
* Interest in the topics of data protection and IT security
* A high level of willingness to learn and commitment - we will support you in further deepening your knowledge
* Enjoy working in a service and customer-oriented role
* An independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
* Very good written and spoken German skills
* Driving license class B and willingness to travel (in Hesse)
