What You’ll Be Doing As our new Quality Control Engineer, you'll be the final gatekeeper of quality before our machines hit the market – making sure every product that leaves the factory floor is fault-free, reliable, and built to spec. Key responsibilities include: Final Quality Checks: Inspect machines for everything from paint finish and welding standards, to torque settings, hydraulic and electrical systems, and correct part fitment. Reporting & Documentation: Create detailed quality reports that guide rectification work or approve machines for stock – driving continual improvement through trend analysis. Root Cause Analysis: Work with departments across the business to investigate defects, identify causes, and implement corrective actions. Support & Collaboration: Liaise with production, engineering, and sales teams to resolve issues quickly and ensure high service standards. Dealer Support: Assist our dealer network with technical advice and support to strengthen product performance and reputation in the field. What We’re Looking For We're after someone with a good technical head on their shoulders – someone who’s hands-on, proactive, and confident working independently or with a team. Essential: Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or service environments Strong attention to detail Able to read and follow assembly instructions and technical drawings Good technical aptitude and a keen interest in how things work Confident communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally Self-motivated and forward-thinking Good IT Skills Desirable (but not a deal breaker): Experience with plant or agricultural machinery Able to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics Forklift/telehandler licences Familiarity with technical measuring and quality standards What’s In It For You?
