Position: Account Manager / Business Development Engineer / Sales Engineer / Account Development Manager / Sales Executive

Responsibilities:
1. Management and development of named accounts
2. Establish and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to maintain renewal business and generate new business
3. Sell industry-leading industrial software
4. Identify and position the best software solution as per customer requirements
5. Engage with customers and prospects via telephone, video conference, email, LinkedIn, and face-to-face meetings
6. Research sources for developing prospective customers and expanding existing accounts
7. Provide accurate forecasts for new sales and renewal revenues
8. Participate in trade shows and conventions; product training and seminars
9. Create and maintain account plans for existing and prospective customers, highlighting and profiling potential users and technical solutions
10. Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, account team, sales management, finance, legal, and technical services groups
11. Office based in Sheffield when not traveling to customers
Requirements:
1. Exposure within a sales role, including Sales Engineer, Account Development Manager, Technical Sales Executive, Account Manager, Account Representative, Business Development Engineer, Sales Manager, Sales Representative, or similar field-based sales role with an engineering Degree
2. Degree in technical, engineering, mechanical, electrical, electronic, technology, software, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, physics, or similar STEM subject
3. To be office-based with high levels of travel to customer sites across the UK required
4. Commutable to Office in Sheffield
