Located close to Manchester’s Spinningfields cultural hub, our office in the Trinity building offers an ideal place from which to make the most of this vibrant area. Our welcoming and diverse team is working on some of the most prestigious and innovative projects in Manchester, across the UK and around the world.
Main duties/responsibilities of the role will include:
1. Work closely with engineers in the Manchester office in a professional and amiable manner.
2. Liaise with clients and expect to be the point of contact for BIM expertise.
3. Participate in coordination meetings internally and externally.
4. Expected to check own and others' work.
Experience and Education
1. Sound understanding of Revit MEP functionality including modelling systems, creating and working with schedules, creating Sheets.
2. Proficient in Navisworks and experience in clash detection.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD.
4. Dynamo desired but not essential.
5. Strong 3D coordination of all MEP services, taking into consideration unique features associated with each service, allowing for access and maintenance, buildability, etc.
6. Understanding of BIM terminology.
7. Able to produce neat drawings and modelling.
8. Experience of Office 365 products.

While a detailed knowledge of this software is not essential (training will be provided), an awareness of working in a 3D environment is, as is a knowledge of cable sizing and lighting design software.
