Hours : 18 - 36 hours
We are looking for someone to support service users in the community across Aberdeen City. We are looking for someone who can show empathy, compassion, and understand the needs of vulnerable people. The right person would be someone who can offer high standards of care, be flexible, committed, enthusiastic. Interim Care at Home is a Bon Accord Care service offering short term care and support in our service user’s own homes. We provide person centred care packages and work alongside other professionals to ensure needs are meet through high quality support. Through this co-ordinated care we support to maximise wellbeing, whilst ensuring our service users have control and choice over their care and how it is delivered.
The shift patterns are 07:30 – 13:30 and 16:00 – 22:00. We work on a 2-week rota to meet the needs of the service, where you would be working every second weekend. There is a 33% enhancement rate for working after 20:00 and 40% enhancement rate for working Saturdays and Sundays
Full training and comprehensive induction, PVG Paid, Local Government Pension, Refer a friend bonus scheme, Mileage paid at 45p per mile, Annual leave starting at 28 days plus public holidays pro-rota.
Applicants must hold a full driving licence.
Job Purpose:
Throughout Aberdeen city you will provide a high standard of person-centred care and support for service users in a range of accommodation settings, including their own homes. You will work as part of a team to support carers and to enable service users to maintain and develop their potential and contribute to their social, physical and mental wellbeing
Requirements
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
Qualification required by SSSC
Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme Record (PVG) or willing to become a scheme member
To have registered or undertaken registration with the SSSC where applicable
Full UK Driving Licence
