The team is a multidisciplinary team comprising of Clinical Site Coordinators and Patient Flow Coordinators and an important member of this team is the ambulance booking clerk.Main duties of the jobThis role coordinates the booking of transport to support the discharge of patients from hospital. In addition ensuring priorities for discharge are identified which means working with our wards and transport providers. You will need good communication and listening skills and be able to remain calm under pressure, as this role can be demanding at busy times during the day. You will have need to be able to work independently and as part of a team. The post will be incorporated into the rota working opposite days or alongside two ambulance booking clerks already in post.
