We are recruiting for a Commercial Management Accountant to join our growing business. For the right candidate this is a very exciting opportunity. The right person needs to be a high performer; driven, proactive and hungry to succeed because you will be working with driven and capable individuals who view customer service, internal and external, as a given and who want to continue to see the business grow at more than 40% per annum. They need great finance people to help them to do this.
This role is a full-time position based in London (with hybrid working) and reporting to our Commercial Finance Manager.
As a Commercial Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing and presenting accurate monthly management accounts.
2. Conducting detailed financial analysis to support business decisions.
3. Developing and monitoring key financial metrics and KPIs.
4. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
5. Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and procedures.
6. Collaborating with various departments to ensure financial alignment and risk mitigation.
7. Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
1. CIMA/ACA/ACCA/other accounting qualification equivalent qualified
2. +3 years proven experience in management accounting/experience in Big 4 accounting firm
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
5. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
6. Experience using Business Information systems such as Qlikview or PowerBI
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
