I'm delighted to be working exclusively with an established, growing organisation based in Kidlington to assist in their recruitment of an an immediately available, experienced Cost Controller on a temporary basis of around 6 months (possibly longer). Client Details The client is renowned in their field and are growing rapidly. They are expanding globally and are about to embark on one of their biggest projects yet The company have on-site parking and offer hybrid working of 3 days in the office, 2 from home. Description The Cost Controller will: Maintain cost targets Use cost details to hold the budget owners to account for their commitments To understand, monitor and forecast programme cash-flow and profit To identify and develop opportunities (with real time/cost benefits) To support the finance team with budgeting and forecasting reflecting on targets To manage booking codes and reconciliation between the programme and finance team To track revenue and work with the finance team to support revenue recognition activities To track and monitor labour bookings across the programme to support workforce planning To be a key contributor to the regular Programme Finance review Profile The Cost Controller will be/have: Experience in a similar/Cost Control position Experience with international inter-company trading Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities Comprehensive experience in stakeholder management, ability to influence outcomes with key stakeholders Experienced with Microsoft/computer literate Understanding of and the ability to forecast and track accrued costs vs cash costs Understanding of earned value Immediately available Job Offer Immediate start Hybrid working A chance to gain skills in a growing, global and reputable company On-site parking Site with amenities Flexible start/finish times
