Additional Information
This is an unremunerated role; however, reasonable travel expenses will be paid.
Meetings are held via Zoom or at our offices in Leamington Spa, and sometimes we utilise the meeting facilities of our partners based in London and Birmingham. There is an expectation that board members will attend a minimum of 4 meetings per annum.
Although our Head Office is in Leamington Spa, we understand that the blind and partially sighted community is spread across the UK, and we are keen to reflect that regional diversity on our Board. Blind and partially sighted people are at the heart of all that we do; therefore, we would particularly welcome applicants from within the sight loss community. With virtual meetings and reasonable travelling expenses available, applicants are encouraged regardless of their geographical location.
