COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT - INITIAL 5 MONTH CONTRACT - INSIDE IR35
One of Lorien's Dundee based Public sector clients is looking for a strong Communications Assistant to join their team on an initial 5 month contract.
To work with the Communications Managers and Communications Officers to carry out a range of communications, marketing and digital engagement tasks which support the organisation's Communications and Policy Department. This includes:
* Social media management
* Content creation across all platforms
* Internal and external email newsletters
* Updating website and intranet information materials
* Demonstrable experience in a communications, marketing or information assistant role
* Experience using social media
* Experience of writing and proofreading copy for online newsletters, leaflets, etc.
* Operating within a busy environment
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
* Attention to detail and ability to analyse results/insights
* Concise and clear oral and written skills
* Effective organisational skills and time management
* Ability to set and prioritise own workload
* Effective administrative skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
