Bid Writer - x1 Bid Writer (Electrical) - x1 Bid Writer (Construction Refurbishment) £42,000 - £48,000 (DOE) Flexible working (2 Days WFH) Bracknell, Berkshire We are working with a client that’s seeking two Bid Writers – x1 for electrical and x1 for construction refurbishment, with proven experience within the social housing sector. As part of a team of five, you’ll play a key role in creating and reviewing compliant, high-quality bid responses, ensuring deadlines are met and established bid processes are adhered to. Whilst working within a dynamic and supportive setting. Responsibilities: Craft compelling and high-quality responses for PQQs, ITTs, and case studies to win business opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic plan Ensure timely production of documentation in a busy and pressurised environment Enhance existing content in the bid library and create new case studies for upcoming projects, while updating existing ones to maintain a robust knowledge base Uphold company brand standards to ensure all bids reflect our values and ethos Stay informed about customer expectations and emerging market trends, bringing innovation and fresh ideas to bid submissions Provide support to the business development function, contributing to initiatives that align with the overall business strategy Requirements: Proven experience in bid writing within the social housing sector Specialised expertise in developing either electrical or construction refurbishment bids Demonstrated ability to plan, produce, and deliver compliant bids and proposals in a business environment Strong capability to work under tight deadlines, showcasing excellent time management and prioritisation skills A collaborative approach with strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to communicate effectively at all levels Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a conscientious approach to work Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a strong command of English grammar, spelling, and vocabulary Flexible with work hours when necessary to meet tender deadlines Proficient in IT, with above-average skills in MS Word Desirable but not essential, Educated to degree level or equivalent Desirable but not essential, APMP Foundation qualification Benefits: 23 Days annual leave (increases with length of service) Office snacks, beverages and team social events throughout the year Annual training budget so you can focus on your personal and professional development Flexible working
